§ 1. General provisions

The controller of personal data collected through the bemat-service.pl website is Mateusz Bednarski, conducting business under the name BEMAT-service Mateusz Bednarski, VAT ID (NIP): 8762503985, e-mail: mateusz.bednarski@bemat-service.pl, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”.

Users’ personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

The Controller takes particular care to protect the interests of data subjects and, in particular, ensures that the data collected are processed lawfully and are not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.

The website does not involve automated decision-making concerning users, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

02

§ 2. Purpose and scope of personal-data collection

Users’ personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Handling enquiries and customer contact: based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the Controller’s legitimate interest in responding to messages sent via the contact form or e-mail).
  • Delivery and quoting of services: based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing is necessary to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract).
  • Website analytics and traffic statistics: based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (the user’s voluntary consent given through the cookie-management system).

The Controller processes the following categories of personal data: first and last name / company name, e-mail address, telephone number (if provided), and the content of the message.

03

§ 3. Personal-data retention period

Users’ personal data are stored by the Controller for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes:

  • Where processing is based on performance of a contract — for as long as needed to perform the contract and thereafter for the period corresponding to the limitation of claims.
  • Where processing is based on the Controller’s legitimate interest (contact via the form) — until business correspondence ends or the user lodges an effective objection.
04

§ 4. Rights of the data subject

Every user whose data are processed has the right to:

  • access their data and receive a copy,
  • rectify (correct) their data,
  • erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
  • restriction of processing,
  • object to processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal),
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Response time: the Controller provides information on actions taken at the user’s request without undue delay, and no later than one month after receiving the request.

To exercise these rights or in matters related to data protection, the user may contact the Controller at: mateusz.bednarski@bemat-service.pl.

05

§ 5. Recipients of data and processors

Users’ personal data are not sold to third parties.

Data may be disclosed only to trusted partners supporting the website (for example the hosting provider and — only after consent — Google Ireland Limited as the provider of Google Analytics 4, which uses IP-anonymisation mechanisms).

06

§ 6. Cookies

The bemat-service.pl website uses cookies stored on the user’s end device.

The site uses the following cookie categories:
